Rotors & Pads
Hello guys I am about 2000 miles away from changing rotors and pads on a 2013 Q5 3.0T.
I am going to have the install done by a local shop for around $250 and purchase NAPA OEM equivalent parts for $450
F & R rotors and pads.
Anyone here used non OEM parts before and do you have any recommendations for better equivalent or is NAPA ok.
Thanks

german rotors RUF Autoteile PR 1LA (bought 50€ from eBay yes they are ventilated), front textar pads with sensor (60€ locally). Wish dealer prices were more conventional/realistic.
Did the same for my wife's CR-V 4th Gen and I am happy I did not have to spend a fortune at the dealer.

My light just came on for replacing brakes and my rotors are pretty much rusted out from salt... Does anyone have other recommndation for OEM pads and rotors? Is NAPPA OEM good?

Yeah, definitely check in at ECS Tuning they often have packages with the various components and proper brake fluid you need for an attractive price.

I had a look at your profile and I'm not certain what year or model of Q5 you have but if a TDI or if the brakes are the same as a TDI then I would go to ID Parts. Best pricing and service for anything that I have needed for our Q5 TDI and our Touareg TDI.
