Warhead Sounds to me like you're up to something evil! Doubt you're going to have a lot of success with this .You'll probably have to go the custom route if your serious about this.Otherwise seek out a cheap YJ for beating on.

Yeah, I am starting to think of some options now. Nothing extreme. But there are a few trails near were I live. Wide enough to take the Q5 down (barely) but there is a few dips and water up to the rocker panels. It was a fun ride but I would like to get something to protect the underside.

IIRC there's only one brush bar, coming out of Italy, and a web search will eventually turn up the company. Something like $350 before shipping?
And they might be able to point you to a skid plate.
Q5's are not really made to go off-road, the AWD is designed more for "challenging roads" than real four-wheeling, so there aren't a lot of off-road parts to be had.
Once upon a time a skid plate meant taking cardboard to your local mechanic and saying "Have this cut out of boilerplate and weld up some mounting studs for me, willya?" Not so long ago.(G)

Yes you could probably take off your "belly pan"and take it to someone who works with aluminium. They could whip something up.
Before you go too far, price all the plastic panels aft.of the belly pan. Those things are not cheap, and they're fragile. Then you get to the rat fur wheel well liners that don't like abuse.I stick with my original recommendation - cheap YJ ! But if your having fun......
