Greetings from China!

While we pay a lot more than folks in America do for almost every brand of vehicles (e.g. for the price I paid for my "Comfort Trim" Q5, which is roughly the equivalent of Premium Plus 2.0T Q5, I could have purchased a SQ5 in the US), we do not enjoy the benefit of customization and diversity. While Audi does offer customized options in China, any changes that differ from the manufacturer's a la carte menu will lead to a 6-8 months of additional delivery time. As a result, 99% of the Q5s (which is really a lot, as Q5 is a quite pedestrian car in my town) on the road here look the same.

In light of the above, I've made two changes to my Q5. While these changes aren't that novel comparing to those on some other members' cars, they definitely make my car different from the rest on the street here.

1. S-Line rear bumper and S-Line front fog light grille. Believe it or not, S-Line exterior is not available on any trims of the 2.0T Q5 here.

2. Dipped original 5-arms 19 inches wheels

Are your wheels 19"? If so, what's your tire size for width and height?

Terrible photos. We picked up a 2016 Q5, supposedly a Premium Plus, but with S-Line badging and some trim. I'm a little confused.

Anyhow, no day shots yet, less than 100 miles and already in the snow!

I'll try to get some photos next week after the snow stops, first of the year!

Mine is a 2015 Q5 with Sline pack. I requested the SQ5 grille design instead which the dealer organized for me and i installed (Who doesn't love DIY?!).
Also installed a 25" LED bar behind the grille because the high-beams suck on these things.

I also changed all interior LEDs for white ones (I don't like the warm glow of the default) I kept the fogs the same as I never use them but I kind of like them different.

People keep asking me about the height..

This is the standard spec height for the Q5. In Australia, Europe and UK the SQ5 is about 30mm lower than the Q5, however in the US the SQ5 due to road regulations and classifications, is the same height as the Q5 (has something to do with being classified as a SUV I believe. So SQive, if your in the US, I believe our heights will be almost if not the same.

I like my height. It handles superbly on the road, very planted with little sway. If I want a lower ride, i'll drive the S5.
Aftermarket lowering doesn't appeal to me either, I've drive 4 other q5's that have been lowered and it's just not feeling right. With this I can actually drive it the way it's meant for. Add the cost for parts, labor, alignment... I considered it but in the end I said no...\

Sorry for the crappy phone photo comparison against another...
The Grille was all black but I had the crossbars painted with dip for a nice change...totally removable..

What's your wheel/tire spec?
