Hi guys, trying to decide on an Audi Q5 and learning about it.

One option listed is Active Cruise Control. But the short writeup says there is a speed range (only at 30km). It's not clear. The BMW version for the 3 series (not available on the X3) is a full Active Cruise Control with stop and go. Meaning it will take you down to zero speed and automatically accelerate when the car in front of you starts moving within 3 seconds. Super cool feature to have in heavy but moving traffic.

Does the Audi Q5 have this "stop and go" feature or will it just completely disengage at 30km?

It will completely stop if it's active, but (and I haven't tested this) I don't think it will engage below 30km/h. Once it's stopped I'm not sure if it will "go" when traffic resumes.

It's a great feature that sure makes highway driving easier and safer.

I had the same question a few weeks ago and found out that the Q5 adaptive cruise control is NOT a stop and go system. (The Q7 is though)
