Which package/line includes Auto Start/Stop feature? (US market)
I've looked in the various threads on the topic of the Automatic Start/Stop technology and haven't found a definitive answer. All I know is that not all Q5s have this feature. I'm looking at new and used Q5s and test drove a 2016 2.0T Premium Plus today that had the Technology package and Sport Interior Package, no S-line, and it didn't have auto start/stop.
What determines whether the car has it? Is it a certain package like S-line? Is it dependent on the engine? Is it certain model years? I can't seem to find any info. I would like to have this feature.

Thank you! I never see it listed in any feature lists for any of the Q5s no matter the engine or packages. I was continuing to look at listings and interior pictures and finally noticed a pattern, before seeing your response, that I was only seeing the Auto start/stop button on the 3.0T models.
Guess I'll be shopping for a 3.0T - the fuel efficiency difference between it and the 2.0T is very minimal, at least on paper. And they tend to come with nicer wheels already. Just need to go test drive one soon.

I find the stop/start feature quite annoying. mine is permanently turned off.
Besides, wife has a very short commute, so the engine never gets warm enough for this feature to engage.

Aside from the polluting factor, I suppose that gaining ~5% MPG from having start/stop comes out to about the same as the ~1MPG difference between the 2.0T and the 3.0T.
