I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus and I'm having trouble getting the phone paired with my 2015 Q5. Has anyone been successful doing this? I did check Audi's phone compatibility page and there is no entry for the S8 Plus. I guess it's too new to be included. My wife has a Galaxy S7 and I had (still have) a Nexus 6P and neither phone has a pairing problem.

Not an exact quote but "can not find a device to pair with". Went to my 2017 Cadillac XT5 and I was in and out of the car in 30 seconds. No pairing problem.

I just got an S8 and paired it with my 2014 Q5. I had to do the following:

1) swipe down in the notification shade, and click the "bluetooth" text (not icon, as that would turn off bluetooth). This somehow puts the phone in a state where it accepts pairing requests.
2) then attempt from MMI to add a new phone
3) confirm the PIN information on both the phone and the car

That should do it.
