Default Picking up our 2015 SQ5 tomorrow. Pretty psyched!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. I've had a bunch of Audis in the past (2000 A4, 2003 A6 2.7T, 2005 B6 S4) then made the switch to some other cars. But after a decade of exploring, I've decided to return to Audi. We are picking up a 2015 Brilliant Black Premium Plus SQ5 tomorrow for my wife. It will be her car and she's pretty excited. We test drove it last weekend and we fell in love with it.

She's coming from a 2012 Infiniti FX35 Limited Edition (which actually is on swapalease right now with only 8 months left... if anyone is interested 2012 Infiniti FX35 lease in Brooklyn, NY)

I've attached a picture of what she's picking up (not her exact vehicle) and window sticker of how it's equipped.

And a photo of her current car which the SQ5 will be replacing:

I will take a full photoshoot of the car after delivery. We already have a couple of small modifications in store...

Welcome back! Great looking SQ5, I'm sure you're going to love it. I remember driving the FX many years back (when the first gen was released it was really in a class of it's own for uniqueness), but times have changed I supposed.

Many grats on a huge upgrade to the SQ5. I came out of an 03 FX45 which was a great car at the time but Infiniti got left behind imho.
I enjoy the SQ5 every time I get in it and I'm sure you & your wife will too.

So after putting on an intoxicating 175 miles, it is super difficult to stop driving this amazing vehicle! Here are a couple of quick pictures from delivery. My wife is loving it also! (whew)...

As I did find out, there summer tires are terrible in the snow. Definitely going to get a set of winter tires for next winter. Now we just have to make it through about six more weeks of this winter! I wanted to show you guys three quick dirty pics of the wife's SQ5 with the tinted front windows and gloss black powdercoated wheels. I will take a proper photoshoot once the snow melts!

What % tint did you get for the front windows?

My dealer put 30% (I think that's the max we're allowed here) and it's too light. Yours looks nicely matched with the rears.

Thank you! I actually went with 20%. I know 35% is our legal limit here in NY so these are darker than that but it matches quite nicely.

With 6 more weeks of bad weather and the slippery summer tires on a beautiful shiny new SQ5, I would get my winter tires on immediately. Certainly wouldnt cross my fingers for that length of time!!
