Q5 2011 clicking noise when decelerating
Hi,
I bought a Q5 2011 Tiptronic, Engine CAEB back on Oct 2014 90000Km.
Summer came into Canada and now I am driving with open windows.
I notice a clicking sound (it might be there since I bought it) coming from the engine area, when releasing gas pedal. The sound is not grinding, nor seems to come from a rotary device.
The sound is identical to a bicycle when stop pedalling. Like scratching a spring with a pencil.
The sound is there even I put the car in N and accelerate, then release the gas (crrrr crrr cr few times.). It disappearing as soon I touch the gas, or I hold the gas a little bit.
The noise also can be heard when stationary accelerate pretty tough, then release, it comes when the engine is close back to idle speed then disappear. Does anyone know what it is.
Thank you.
