Hahaha, don't test drive this car !!!

Many congrats on the new ride, the S seems a bit more exclusive than Q5 3.0T.

Good job making the deal happened with your dealer. This is usually the less exciting moments (for me anyway, even if my dealer was very nice).

Two years ago, I test drove a Q5, and loved it, but ended up leasing a Grand Cherokee 5.7 Hemi, which I never really liked. Then in April, I test drove the SQ5, and that was it! Had a deal worked out within two weeks. I love this car more and more every day...and so will you! Best of luck with it!

most def. i bait-and-switched myself! i had my car all built online. i knew exactly what i wanted and the dealer had a Q5 3.0 coming off the boat that met all my specs. so i went down to drive it but it wasnt ready for a test drive. so my salesperson asked me if i wanted to take out a TDI, a 2.0, or an SQ5. i figured the TDI would be too torquey and the 2.0 wouldnt have enough oomph, so i took out an SQ5. when i was done with the test drive (wow, what a test drive - i think i dropped the eff bomb when i stomped the gas pedal), the 3.0 still wasnt ready for a drive. so i went back the next day to test drive it. i spent 2 minutes in the car before i realized that i had to pay the extra cash for the S. so i kinda screwed myself on that one. oh well, my wallet is a little lighter, but my smile is tremendously bigger!

how did your Grand Cherokee end up ? buy-back or just return ?
