After digging through this forum finding this old post I ended up going through the inner wheel well on my 2011 SQ5 and it took me about 5 minutes per side to swap out to nice new LED foggers. Great tips everyone.

I have them on our A4 (also had them on my S4).
I recently installed the Nokya JDM Yellows on the Q-ship. Me thinks they're bit brighter than the Hoens, an Osram product as indicated by the embossed 'Osram' on the bulb base fyi.
Went through the inner wheel wells for the install on the S4, A4, Q5.

Same for my Q5...I felt much more at east not trying to pry the fog light cover off the car...3 screws and 10 minutes of time was much easier. Using the inner fender was the best advice I got from this thread.

I read somewhere that if the bulbs don't draw the same power an error code comes up.

No issues with these bulbs?

No error codes with the fog replacements nor the license plate LED replacements I put in.

Whaddya know, it really was that easy to swap fog light bulbs! And I only barely meet BirdmanQ5's requirement of "can hold a fork and knife"

For the record, I used the fender liner procedure. The necessary Torx screwdriver is in the collection of tools in the trunk (just like when I swapped in the European taillights - everything I needed was supplied with the car).
