Default Audi Q5 - "How to install roof rails" - Detailed instructions + Pictures

As time passes I find that I get asked the same questions more than a few times a week and
I love to give the answers because showing people the Audi Brand and technologies is one of
my true passions. A question that has been asked of me in a number of times in emails by
people all around the country is “How do I install my Audi Q5 Roof Racks?”

And most of all, thank you for letting me see what my Garnet Red 2010 Q5 looks like!!! I ordered it sight unseen and don't get it until next week.
It looks awesome!!! Oh yeah, the roof rack is nice too.... :-)

Default How to remove the front seat headrests.....

In case anyone is interested, here are instructions on how to remove the headrest on the Q5. I had to remove mine to replace with DVD headrests. The procedure is easy, but not obvious (I had to make phone calls to find this out):

On the back of the seat (a couple of inches below where the left post goes into the seat) there is a release button that has to be pressed in while you pull up on the head rest. You cannot see this button, but you will be able to feel it. It is helpfull to have two people to do the process - one to push and hold the button and the other to pull up and jiggle the headrest out.
