Q5 front window tint color not match
Just tinted front windows on the Q5 at tint shop. They measured OEM rear at 33%. They tinted the front only to 35% with 3M brand tint and the color does not match (looks green on the front). Any advice on how to get colors to match or heads up on different brand tint to make it match up with rear?

Looks like you have ceramic tint on the front; according to what I found last week, you're going to have to get a metallic based tint to match Audi's smoked glass look (research). I ended up with 30% Llumar ATX on the front two doors and 80% 3M Crystalline done on the windshield.
The doors match perfectly, and the heat from the front glass during a roadtrip this past week was negligible.

Can you show me some pictures of it on your car?

I'll shoot some tomorrow with a copy of what the tint shop invoiced me.

Sorry about that! The next day I ended up taking my ride in for service, of which it still is!

I find that most of the higher end tint llumar ceramic, suntek carbon have a weird interior reflection. Makes looking out on a sunny day purplish when the sun glares through the windshield and hits it. After 2 retint, i got suntek 35% regular hp tint. Color is pretty close which is a grayish/tan color which the rear q5’s are. Most suv are dark smoke in the more purple tone.
I do my own tinting and thats why I can redo them. Still its a pain because the window seals are ultimately tight.
