Took delivery on 7 April of a 2010 S4. Versions are identical to DMitchell's. I'm in the St. Louis area and the map is missing a large section of the main highway through the city (was closed for rework for a couple years and reopened last December). This makes the navi almost useless around town since it is always going strange routes.

Can you please check if you can turn off TMC symbol in your display

To do that you need NAV -> ROUTE -> ROUTE CRITERIA -> Dynamic Route [OFF].

Had the Q5 in to replace a damaged tire (had road hazard protection with the dealer). I just noticed tonight that they performed an MMI reflash and SVM update. Campaign 91G1/01. I left a voicemail with the service advisor to ask what this was about, but have yet to hear back.

My MMI info is now:
Software version: HNav_US_P0114_D1
Nav database version: 8R0060884P NAR 5.4.7

I haven't really noticed any difference with the map data as of yet, but that doesn't really mean anything with regards to what others might see.

Service advisor says this was a TPMS update. Not quite sure what the issue was that prompted it. He says no real map update, but at least from the versions posted here, my nav version is higher than those now.

To awaken this thread...

My April build Q5 MMI has the same versions:
Software version: HNav_US_P0114_D1
Nav database version: 8R0060884P NAR 5.4.7

I guess that's the latest which told me I was off road while driving down a 2 year old 8 lane highway in DFW, TX...

Navteq emailed today to say there are no plans to update it 'at this time'..

I also called Audi USA to say this was unacceptable to get a $3000 option that is out of date when we get it...

Not sure what Audi can do about a 3rd party map data supplier...and Navteq is the biggest in North America. You would have a legitimate complaint if a newer map database was available than the one on your system at the time of delivery, but slow map data updates is a fact of life with these systems. I have the exact same problem with my BMW X5 and Honda Odyssey OE Nav systems that rely on Navteq data. I expect the same issue with my 2011 S4 and 2012 Q7. I have learned to rely on my smartphone for better POI and updated map data when necessary...

Good point,
but for starters, I didn't buy the vehicle from anyone other than Audi who's Audi salesmen represented it as 'the latest' -

I asked that question since I have used Navteq maps for years and my two Garmins are updated quarterly for free - guess I can start using them again ....
