Q5 separate Fan operation for driver and passenger
I am trying to adjust the fan to separate settings for driver and passenger but it continues to adjust both at the same time??? any suggtions. Thanks

Press the fan and adjust the passenger side then adjust the driver. The driver would be the master and control both regardless. Once you change it on the passenger side, the sync is broken

yeah.. i just tried it.. only one blower setting for both sides

I think they might have removed this feature after the first round of interior changes on the b8. I remember my 2009 B8 A4 having two fan adjustment buttons - one for driver, one for passenger. The 2013 Q5 I have now only has one fan adjustment button.
At the same time, they did away with the 6 way adjustable heated seat adjustment from the climate control console to a single button with only three settings. |
