Default Q5/SQ5 Tucking in Rear Seat Belt Connectors?

Hey am I missing something or is it really hard to make the seat belt connectors flush with the seats or hide them. For context, I put a dog cover over the back but the connectors stick out and aren't very comfortable for her and there didn't seem to be a good way to hide them.

Anyone else run into this? Am I missing something?

Nope, not missing anything. Same results with mine and my dog. I put a few towels over them to cushion.

The solution is Velcro! Purchase some at the hardware store and place loop side in the base cutout and the hook side underneath the seatbelt clip. After applying the Velcro make sure to press firmly and leave it alone for at least 5-10 hours. Afterward push the two pieces together and use some blue masking tape to hold it in position against the leather for few hours. That should do the trick for the two rear side seats. However the center bench seat has no solution Audi totally F%$# us! What kind of idiot forgets to design seatbelt clip slot to hide the belt clip, God forbid you fold the seats down.

I hate it mostly because sometimes I like to lay down across my backseat during my lunch.

Needless to say, I finally got around to my midday nap in the SQ5 to find out this is impossible.

I guess its time to make a return...

I’m not entirely certain how the center seatbelt clip is held in place under that black plastic wrapping but I wonder if it's heat sensitive? If so I might try using a heat gun on the area to make it more pliable?
