I found this on US NHTSA.GOV website
April 1, 2011 MANUFACTURER COMMUNICATION NUMBER: SA-19H1
Components: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
NHTSA ID Number: 10038589
Manufacturer Communication Number: SA-19H1
Summary
AUDI SERVICE CAMPAIGN: SEE DOCUMENT SEARCH BUTTON FOR OWNER LETTER. A SEAL INSIDE THE COOLANT PUMP CAN WEAR OUT AND LEAK COOLANT. THIS ALSO CAUSED THE ENGINE LIGHT TO COME ON. *RM UPDATED ON 06/27/2011. *KB

Thanks. Found it. This item affects a limited number of 2009-2011 model year Audi vehicles equipped with 3.0L TFSI, 3.0L TDI and 3.2L TFSI engines
I believe 2.0 TFSi pump came with alloy material though other models were made of plastic.

Water Pump failure
Recall issued for certain cars as "Service Action Campaign 19H1/F1"
Replaced plastic waterpump housing with metal waterpump housing. You can visually inspect for correct part. Located below supercharger on the front of left of the block. Updated P/N is 06E-121-018-A.
TSB #2023944/1
Some Background info on latest revised coolant pump part no (with regulator) 06H121026DD which is now sold applicable to some prefacelift and facelift Q5s 2.0l TFSi models.
The water pump in your vehicle keeps all that coolant flowing freely. If it begins to fail, overheating problems are inevitable. Don't take a chance on doing damage to engine internals by not replacing your water pump. If your pump stops working, coolant temperatures rise rapidly and can overheat the engine, leading to head gasket or even piston ring failure.
Coolant loss when doing the water pump replacement is inevitable, so be sure to pick up some factory approved coolant. Make sure you also replace the water pump drive belt when doing this replacement.

2013 Q5 2.0T, 52,000 miles – initially got the warning light low coolant in reservoir, topped off with water, leaking persisted and increased over the next few months. Diagnosis with pressure test was coolant leaking from water pump (side of the black plastic housing) and replaced water pump (part # 06H121026DD), charged 4.5 hrs labor but it actually to over 6 hrs. Repair cost $982, includes 5% first time customer discount asked for at time of pickup. (other quotes bet. $1000-$1300, and some might charge separate diagnostic fee $90-$180)
