Default Question for the SQ5 folks ... is the Soundaktor on the US version??? (RETROFIT)

I know there are tons of the S4 guys who either love or hate the Soundaktor. I know it's on the SQ5 TDI model, but wondered if you guys were seeing it on your US Spec'd SQ5 3.0T's?

My girl and I have a GLI, which has it, and I am in the camp of actually loving the cabin noise, and think it is a great addition to the exhaust.

This is the part number listed in the GTI video.
8J0 907 601 -KKE

I was wondering if all the Soundaktors were the same parts, what came on the SQ5, and what all would be needed for a retrofit. I know it connects to the fuse box, and maybe has it's own control unit? Doesn't seem like there is much to it in the videos I've looked at. Would it need VCDS enabled? I doubt it.

I know some hate them, but driving the GLI around with it, and my Q5 which has tons more hp and torque, and a better exhaust ... the GLI still sounds better in the cabin/more like a V8.

Thoughts on what is needed for a retrofit? If the SQ5 has one, it should be a simple part buy and install.

Thanks Spijun....

Apparently, the SQ5 does have it.

What about wiring harnesses, etc.??

Do you think it can be done?

Interesting....

So the TDi and TFSI have different actuators.
Also, I wonder what the difference is between the two TFSI variants?
