I do like to raise my wiper blades when it's going to be parked outside at work in winter with predicted snow, just to make it easier to clear when I come out. But I don't mind going via the MMI those relatively few instances.

Thanks for all the input/ideas. If it can be manually lifted that is great, I'll have to check my manual. If not, it's really annoying that I'd have to either run the wipers and then off power to 'catch' them in an up position, or go through the MMI.
