Rear wiper motor problem
Hi, my rear wiper started to act funny in the winter, it would activate after 5-10 sec, in spring it would take 2-3 minutes to wipe once. Finally it stops last month completely. I took it a part, order new motor, replace and still won't work.
I mesured the voltage on the connector and it gives 12 v on 3 pins but it gives even when is not activated on 3 of 4 pins. How to test motor itself? Sprey nozzle works ok. I am thinking is there any relay or something that could go bad?
I read here that in Q7 forum that guy had a problem and mechanic found some hidden box behind passanger compartment??
Any Idea would be appreciated, thanks.

Turns out there's an undocumented fuse box behind the glove compartment that I could not find any internet Audi or other documentation about. in the years previous to the 2013 it was well documented but there after about 2010 I could not find anything that would show this

Did you perform a VCDS scan? My rear wiper woes turned out to be the multi-function switch and the scan ratted it out.

Ya it is. I bought the OEM switch online for about $300 at the time. Mine got worse and all the wiper controls got variably wacky so I had to fix it.
When only the rear wiper was intermittently working I could live with that.
Have to remove the steering wheel, not for everyone to fix with the airbag. The scan should better aim you in the correct direction.

I did scan and only thing that shows related to my problem is this:
00908 - Control Module for Wiper Motor
004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00100100
Fault Priority: 3
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 42
Date: 2019.06.16
Time: 15:09:00
but this was Saturday when I disconnected harness from wiper motor and tested for voltage. No error code in last 3-4 months when problem started.
Do you remember your code and how to remove switch from steering wheel?

The code description was something like multifunction switch malfunction and number of instances. I would clear the code and it would be fine for a while. At the end it wouldn’t stay cleared.
Once the air bag and steering wheel is removed then removing the switch assembly includes all stalks is a breeze.
Looks like the module connector or module in yours and not the switch.
