Sorry, I posted this earlier in the wrong category, so I'm re-posting it here:

Quick question; for years I've always bought this item: (as an aside, I don't think it really has the bulky 'clip' part like in the picture, but maybe i'm remembering incorrectly)

In any case, I was about to order it again, when I came across this one:
Amazon says both fit my Q5, yet one is 12" and one is 13".

Have I been using too small a wiper all these years? Can I use a 13"?

Fwiw from the pic of the first one it looks like the bulky clip comes off then it looks identical to OEM wiper.
The factory wiper is significantly smaller than anything it could possibly interfere with so I doubt going to 13" matters at all. I believe the factory blade is 325mm = 12.8 in.
I usually just buy the wiper from the dealer usually $12-$15.

Your Bosch wiper link doesn't show a single beam wiper style, I thought all Q5's have beam style rear wipers.

I use these Bosch OEM rear wipers for my 2014, and they state that they fit from 2009 on............

Not spending much on the rear as I hardly use it.
