Replace door lock - 2k9 Q5 - need diagram
 

I'm having an issue with my driver's side door lock with my 09 Q5, lock actuator is quirky. It doesn't lock/unlock with the remote. The button on the inside works and it will automatically lock when I start driving.

Just brought it to the dealer and this is what they quoted:
$160 - diagnostic fee. This is just to look at the car.
$485 - parts
$232 - labor (1.5 hours)

So almost $1k just to replace the lock.

Anyone have a door diagram? Is this something that I can replace myself?

The Audi site lists what I think is the part for $200 here

Hello spijun, I have read your forum with some PDF to shown how to disassemble the door panel. Can you send me/us the PDF to take off the door steel panel after taking off the plastic door panel? My door handle lock set was dropped inside the door and I have to open the interior steel door panel to get the lock set back.....!

These PDFs are money!
