Not to be nitpicking but is that "S" in RS as crooked as it appears?
Otherwise, that grill looks sweet.

Not just the S, the whole line of text is misaligned. Looks like a kid with a glue stick just stuck it on.

I would remove the RSQ5 badge altogether. It's one thing if you mod the engine to it's limits but I don't think a 2.0T tuned qualifies for RS.That and the poorly stuck on letters, your Q will look better without it IMO.

Yes, Birdman, the emblem will be removed. Nothing is worst than having a "Fake" Q5...not to mention Pretentious!

OR i will be the baby with the glue gun and re-arrange the letters to "Q5/RS" hahahhahah

that may be fun.

Thanks for sharing your build. I'm curious about how the vehicle will feel after the coil-overs and ultra racing sways... do you drive hard and want the vehicle to be more responsive and stiffer?

I don't drive very hard , but I do like to take corners at higher speeds. Example, freeway connectors average turn speed is 35 to 45. I often going in at 65 to 70+. Steering responsiveness and stability during the turn is important. ( bad habits I picked up after owning the A3.)

Weight of the the Q5 and ride height is a concern for me, plus the added torsion on the body frame during the turn. Because of that reason I ordered the UR bars.
The whole idea is
1. KW V2: for reducing height, dampening, and stiffness of the springs
2. UR front upper & lower strut bar and brace to tighten front suspension and body frame
3. Center bar is used to decrease structural torsion between the cavity where the transmissionis located
4. Larger rear Anti-roll bar
5. Rear torsion bar to keep the tail in check.

I m certain the feel of the combo (KW&UR) installed, "WILL" improve overall stiffness, responsiveness and stability I needed.

It is all "theory" until it is finally on the car and ready for testing..

I need to thank Cyrus at JC AutoHouse for doing all the installs and alignment. (he has been doing all of my mods for over 10 years)

Ultra Racing Struts Bar, Rear Sway, Chassis Brace: (transmission, Rear Trunk Torsion)Here are the Comparison:

Front upper Strut Bar:

OEM Transmission Brace VS Ultra Racing:

Rear Sway OEM VS Ultra Racing:

Many has asked about the handling after the front strut/ rear sway/ KW V2 installed. Initial impressions arecomparison from stock)
A. Over-steer is significantly reduced
B. tighter turns
C. huge reduction in lean during turns
will give you guys more update later on this week. I have only driven 2 hours after the install, and it was getting really late.

Here are the rest of the Pending MODS:
VCDS:
GIAC Stage 1
20" Wheels- still looking

Congrats on the new goodies. Thanks for the information and details on the mods.

Did you consider purchasing EuroCodes AluKreuz? Coming from an S4, this was one of the most talked about mods (aside from tuning) and considered best bang for the buck in the handling department. I haven't seen any Qs with them installed, so I'm curious if it would make the same difference on the Q.
