Seat colours
I have bought a 2009 A4 in which the previous owner has dyed the cinnamon valcona leather seats black.
I'm keen to return the colour to the original.
Can someone tell me if the seats were offered as a standard all cinnamon or were options offered where only certain panels were cinnamon with others black.
Many thanks

But still curious how did the black hold up, did it wear off?

My apologies I'm a newbie. The black is flaking off at the back of the seat base. I have talked with a local leather expert who suggests that it is just a poor job where the guy hasn't prepared the leather correctly, I understand that a special adhesive might be applied before the dye and then a top sealer to finish the job.
Audi have been very helpful in trying to identify the original colouring however their records are limited and state the original to be cinnamon-black/ black - black/ black/ star silver
Which I have interpreted as front seats/ rear seats/ door covering/ trim.
Without the original owners comment, and not wanting to scrape any of the panels the only way I can guess at which were the coloured panels is to prise apart the seams hoping to find areas where the black dye didn't reach.
Many thanks
