Seems like we could do a lot better on this whole CAFE thing, but manufacturers would balk if we did away with the "truck loophole". I'd just like to see them improving consumption across the board, and being able to play games with classification (like the PT Cruiser was a "light truck"... really?) doesn't really do anything. And then maybe we'd be able to have the SQ5 be a little lower if people wanted.

I think it's a combination of things. It might be partially camera angle and the horizontal lines, but also in this picture you clearly see the lower bumper of the SQ5 and not so much on the Q5 due to the colors and shadows, so it seems like the car is closer to the ground by a few significant margin.

Perhaps, but every aspect of that SQ5 looks lower in this pic... the wheel arches look lower, the mirrors look lower, and roof height relative to the fence looks lower.
