Default Splash Guards

Just got a new 2013 Q5 3.0T and had ordered a set of OEM splash guards off of E-Bay. Thinking now these will not fit. Don't have the S-Line package but with the V6 are they all S-Line. Could they be modified to fit?

All the 3.0Ts have the S-line body pkg on them.

That body kit normally doesn't come with the splash guards, however they do fit. Mine came off of my non-S-line body and fit on my S-line body.

So you are saying the splash guards will fit? Did you need to modify them, would seem to think that body ridge interferes some. Can't really see from you pictures. Thanks

Yeah, I really want a confirmation on this also. All the sites I've looked at specifically list the S-line premium plus as not being compatible, but I'm desperate for splash guards. It rains every day here in Florida during the summer and I'm so tired of the spin-off... Eager to get a pair of splash guards to resolve this.

Default PSplash Guards.

Tuunderdent, I'm with BlackAce. I really want them for my gravel roads. I started a new thread on this subject a month or so ago, and got very little back. I have searched the web and have found nothing, yet. Can you tell us what you had to do to make them fit, and with photos, if possible, Thanks.

Sorry guys. Been out of town a few days.

Not sure about modifications. All I did was drop off at body shop and when I got it back they were on there. I was just as surprised as you to see them.

I'll take a closer look at them and grab some pics for you guys today and post them for you.

More to come....

This apparently is a issue for many. The pictures would help greatly, appreciate the help for me and others. I have them ready to go on if my local shop can make it work. Understand you need to take the wheels off to get the proper access to install. I held mine up against the body today and it would seem like you need to trim them a little to get around the ridge that the S-Line has. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, Thunder. I know this will sound silly, but I'm watching this thread about as intently as I was when I was waiting for the 2014 Order Guide and PIB announcement threads.

Yes, it really does bother me that much.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but this looks custom and not like the pics of the OEM ones I've seen online. Wonder if my local body shop could make me something similar.

EDIT: Actually, maybe you have the new ones for 2013? See this thread for reference:
