SQ5 ACNA discount + Loyalty Discount

SQ5 ACNA discount + Loyalty Discount
Am having a little "discussion" with my dealer regarding whether I should have gotten the loyalty discount on the SQ5. I did receive the 6% ACNA discount, but was told by the finance guy that the SQ5 did not qualify for the loyalty discount. Then I read on this forum that someone was getting both. So I questioned the discounts. Now I am getting 2 different stories from different people in the dealership:
1) SQ5 does not qualify for loyalty discount
2) You cannot combine ACNA discount and loyalty discount
Apparently this rocket scientist in the sales dept. called the Audi rep who never got back to him with an answer re combining the 2 discounts so he did not give me the loyalty discount. Then he complained that he would have to redo the whole deal to give me the discount. You can imagine what I said to him about that.
I have a complaint into Audi NA who is investigating. I have also contacted the General Manager of the dealership who always has been very supportive and thorough. I keep on having to go to him, though, to get issues with the sales department resolved. The service department is OUTSTANDING which is why I keep going there.
Would appreciate forum members' input and experience with combining these discounts.

I was able to get both the ACNA discount and loyalty on my SQ5 purchase.
I'm in Canada though and our discount is a paltry $750, compared to the 6% you guys enjoy in the US.
Loyalty for us is $1000.00. What is it in the U.S.?

It depends on the car. Loyalty discount varies between $1000-$1500 in the United States

Donna,
From the ACNA/Audi Program web page:
"This program is compatible with any Audi retail incentive (loyalty or conquest) and AFS Special or Standard rate program unless noted in future communications."
So not being able to combine the programs is just wrong.
http://www.audiclubna.org/audi-resou...acna-discounts
As for the SQ5 being eligible, it's not shown in the model grid nor in the disclaimer below it on the Audi US website:
"For an individual, member of an individual's household, or business customer who currently owns or leases a MY2001 or newer Audi model (proof of ownership/ registration is required). Limit one incentive per eligible VIN. Audi of America, Inc. will pay between $1,000 and $3,000, depending upon model, towards the lease or purchase of a new, unused 2013 or 2014 A4/S4 Sedan, A5/S5/RS5 Coupe, A5/S5/RS5 Cabriolet, allroad, TT/TT-S/TT RS Coupe, TT/TT-S Roadster, Q5, A6, S6, A7, S7, RS 7, Q7, A8, and S8. Offer excludes R8 models."

On the other hand, as the OP mentioned, at least one AW member received the $1K Loyalty discount on his SQ5. So either it's not included and his dealer made a mistake or Audi made an error in their documentation and it is. I would continue to work with AOA - ask to escalate to an executive case specialist if not getting a conclusive answer.

Most disturbing to me was the attitude of the sales department of being too lazy to follow up with the Audi rep and also complaining that he might have to redo the deal to give me the discount. I am in sales. Sales is all about service and attitude.

Good luck to you. I hope that you are able to get something done on this. I know from experience that it sometimes can be hard to get something after the fact, especially from a sales dept. Most of your leverage is gone and you have to rely on good will.

My deal is written so that I'm getting the $1000 loyalty + 6%. The $1000 is the minimum, as the dealer agree to give me that no matter what...but if the loyalty was higher, they would honor the higher amount. And if it went down, they'd eat the difference. The car is supposed to get on the boat this week. I have NO doubt that what is on the agreement is exactly what will happen. Your dealer doesn't get it. AoA should be able to make it right though.

I'm banking on it....
Per the Houston dealers, the ACNA and Loyalty Discount does apply. Here is a link especially for the Houston Dealers including the SQ5 under the Loyalty Program (which is being funded by AOA).

I joined the ACNA on July 10th ($50 membership), so technically I will qualify for the ACNA on Jan. 10th. The ACNA program can be "cancelled" at anytime, but I was told it would go thru Jan. 31 by someone in the ACNA office. So, if you think you want to join the ACNA now, you have no other choice but to join as a Lifetime member ($750). Still a good deal for the discount, but I'm wanting to save $700 to add some things to the car. Here's the link to the ACNA membership benefit. It only states 2013 cars but the 2014's have been included.

The Loyalty Program, I'm referring to is good thru Jan. 7th. per the website. Yikes... My ACNA discount is not good til Jan 10th. I'm hoping that the ACNA will send the certificate a little early or the Loyalty Discount will be extended. I there will be a car at the dealership with my name on it.
So, I have been in contact with a dealer and he knows the facts that we need to get a car "orderd" and delivered in January to meet both the ACNA discount and the loyalty program. It's going to be a little interesting to make sure we order and they deliver on time. (Fingers crossed).
Good luck, Donna. I wouldn't back down.
