It's been a while since I've been on the forum, but I decided to check in and give a bit of an update on my Q5.
When I hit 100,000, 150,000 and 200,000km respectively I had a strong urge to trade or sell, even tried to on Auto-trader, but now being at 245,000km and the car still performing top-notch I am content to keep it as long as possible.
At around 120,000 the engine was removed in order to do a carbon cleaning and since then the fuel injectors have been replaced twice, but apart from that, just the usual maintenance and wear and tear items like brake pads and rotors, wipers, oil and fluids has been required.
I'm very impressed with the great service the Q is giving me, especially with the 3.2L V6 engine.

Last August I had a run-in with a moose that did quite a bit of cosmetic damage to the front end, but all damaged components were replaced through my insurance and now it actually looks brand new again.
This has certainly been a very good vehicle and certainly worth every penny I paid!

Wow, 150k miles! Has any other member even hit 100k miles yet? Great to know this car has long-term reliability.

Thanks for posting this. Certainly makes me feel good about my recent purchase of a 2011 3.2. If you don't mind sharing -- how much do the carbon cleanings/injector replacements cost you? Are you doing them through the dealer or 3rd party? Also, what are you doing ( if anything ) to slow/prevent carbon build up?

The entire job was $2,500. Initially Audi covered $1,500 and I paid the rest, recently I put in a claim to Audi because this now covered under warranty and they reimbursed me another $1,000.

people are still pulling heads to manually scrape off deposits? i thought all that could be done with a nice chemical cleaning followed by an oil change to dump the solvent that leaks down into the crankcase. i have to play dumb here though because i havent owned a car with more than 50k miles on the dial.

and to the OP, congrats on hitting that mileage on your Audi. that is great news to hear as a fellow Audi owner.

Well my Audi Q5 is at the dealer today for just a routine service. All has been well. I am happy to report a wonderful experience through 126,735 miles. No carbon build up problems with mine. Early on, the water pump was replaced under warranty.

I have a few rock chips (and a small crack developing) in the windshield, so will need to replace that soon, but I consider that a maintenance item due to the milage. Obviously not an Audi issue.

I love my Q and am as happy today, as I was the day I drove it out of the showroom.

I plan to keep it until it starts costing me a fortune to maintain.

The wife's '10 Q is at 81K with only the WP and DRL modules replaced at 25K while at AudiCare. Other than that, only the tires were replaced at 75K. Everything is still OEM, including the brake pads. The wife commutes on the Hi-way and fills up with Shell's V-Power and I've started changing the oil by extraction and using Mobil 1 0W40. Four and half years and still running well. (Knocking on wood)
