It's interesting to me how we are seeing the two different tire types on vehicles that were likely all manufactured within days of each other.
What determines whether or not a vehicle gets equipped with the Pirellis vs the Dunlops? I understand that typically this would depend on whatever is on hand at the time of mfg, but we're talking about cars that are likely all the same build week. I wonder if it has something to do with whether or not it's a customer order, vs dealer allotments. Specific options? In the end though, I'm sure it doesn't really matter... I'm just curious is all. :) |

I'm just curious is all. :) On warehouse have tires only for 3-4 days, different manufacturers shipped tires daily There is no option to select tires or order them from the factory, because it factory does not know which tires have in stock when producing your vehicle |
Dunlops. Bought some returned, custom, black 5 spoke 20" rims for winter tires. Will put them on in late Oct - early Nov. Not sure on winter tires yet.
