Default SQ5: smell in the cabin after acceleration

Hello

I've noticed some new smell in the cabin in my SQ5 after I floor it for like few seconds. The smell feels like really hot metal with maybe something burning on it. Not much burning at all though. Just a little. Mostly like very hot metal.
This is a new one for me. I had the 5K service about a month ago but it is probably not related. Have not looked under the hood yet. Keep forgetting about it by the time I get somewhere where I can do it.

So, the whole saying "it goes like stink" is quite literal in your case.

I see a feline in your sig pic... are you sure he didn't get stuck under the hood?

Seriously though, does it smell like burnt oil? Are you losing any oil?

Well, now I can not check it till Saturday. Just curious if anyone else noticed anything like this.
Do not think it smells like oil though. Just hot metal kind of smell.

I had that after a full acceleration in my A6. It's some overspray coating burning off the exhaust from the factory. It goes away after awhile.

I noticed a smell but mostly when I get out the car. If I was driving harder, there is a "hot" smell.

Nothing inside though if windows are shut.

I need to ask: I noticed you´re located at South Florida so was it you yesterday (Monday Aug 11th) afternoon at Pembroke Pines dealer service?

I saw a silver SQ5 on the service floor. While I was leaving I heard the service advisor revving the car.
