Default Temporary Fix/Permanent Solution for Mirror damage & Scratches

Gentlemen,

Once again I would like to thank this forum's members for the generous support I receive every time I post for help. I need help once agin and I would welcome your suggestions and recommendations!

Today while I was backing on the drive way, I was not careful and I hit the post-box( Wooden box on a stand). The noise made me realize that I did something terrible and ended up in damaging the left mirror. Besides, some scratches are seen on the truck, fender, and headlight. The mirror is working fine( able to move and adjust the settings, autofold works well, looks like the top metal and bottom cap lost connection and so see a big gap between.

Not sure how much it costs to get these fixed, but anticipating around $1200 atleast to get back to original condition.

Please see the pics below and I would appreciate your feedback.

OUCH!

You may be able to color sand/machine buff some of it to look a lot better, maybe even acceptable to you A single headlight repacement (there is no just a lens replacement) is about $1200 -1500 alone, total repair cost is going to be very pricey.

You may want to contact a Painless Dent removal pro, ask your Audi dealer who is good. Some of these PDR guys do great dent removal and paint touch up of just the scrached area.

prob don't have to go to sandpaper...Good polishing compound could take most of it out.

Agreed, pick up a few grades of polishing compound and start with least abrasive. Use sandpaper as a last resort. Hope you are pleasantly surprised.
