Default Steering Wheel change on SQ5??

I have a 2015 SQ5 and a major issue. The steering wheel is too thick to grasp comfortably with a newly developed arthritis in both my hands. Has anyone ever changed out the steering wheel on their SQ5 for a standard size multifunctional wheel not the bulkier S or R series wheel. I had the same issue with my R8.
Thanks

You could do it.

I swapped my old Q5 steering wheel for a flat-bottom.

My dealer just told me you can't swap steering wheels because it will confuse the airbag sensors and become a safety issue??
Any thoughts on this.

Let me know if you want to trade. I have the thinner wheel from the sport package. Same thickness as the standard Q5 wheel, but with 3-spokes.

So, with this information.

How hard would it be to install a Q7 heated flat bottom steering wheel? If they actually make one?

Heated steering wheel is impossible set up the Q5 / A4 / A5, does not exist hardware and software that it supports
