Streaming bluetooth
Does anyone know of the 2015 Q5 will come with bluetooth streaming standard or do u still need to get Navigation pckg. This will be a deal breaker as the Wifes 5 yr old Mazda has it and shes used to playing Pandora.

Without nav, your Q5 would still come with AMI which you can buy the Tune2Air and stream music through bluetooth. Works flawlessly on my SQ5 which doesn't have nav. The Tune2Air is about $100 on Amazon.

I think that with the 2015, you can order the B&O system without nav (which was different than in 2012), but I don't remember if Bluetooth audio was also available on the 2015 without nav.
I probably will get the Tune2Air if I keep my 2012 -- do you know if it actually shows the songs being played on the Audi screen for Pandora, for example, or does it just stream audio?

You can "stream" audio in a wired fashion if you have the iPod interface in the Audi by replacing the cable that has a 30 pin connector with a Audi connector cable that has a 3.5mm jack that can be connected to the phone headphone jack. The cables are about $15 and can be found on eBay. With the wired approach, you control the music from the phone, it only transmits audio. I bought a cable with a 3 foot length (most of them listed are short) so you can have the phone outside the glovebox. The wired approach works, but Tune2Air is presumably a much cleaner solution. I originally went with the wired solution out of concern for audio quality vs wireless, but it sounds like Tune2Air sounds pretty good as well.

I've used the Tune2Air product in the car since getting it in 2013 without issues. Song info shows on the screen with both MP3s and streaming sources (we use Slacker predominantly). I'd highly recommend the $100 investment, if you aren't looking to spend thousands on the nav.
You can search this forum for tune2air and will find pages of testimonials from other drivers who swear by this product.

Huge thumbs down to Audi for this decision
Streaming bluetooth audio is not possible on the basic sound system on 2015 Audis. It's ridiculous but you can only do that if you have the upgraded navigation/sound system. BIG thumbs down to Audi. I purchased a 2015 Allroad and was very dissapointed to find this out after the fact. I take the blame for not fully researching the car but I ASSUMED it had basic luxury amentites in the car. Thank god it came standard with turn signals, lights and seat belts. (Just kidding) Frankly, I would've passed on the car just out of principal since most ALL cars have this as a standard feature now. I was forced to order the tune2air adapter but it's only fully functional with Apple products. If you use Windows or Droid phones then you can only play music with no display or control funcitons. Audi certainly has this technology as it came standard in my 2014 VW Jetta. Again, BIG THUMBS DOWN TO AUID FOR THIS.
