Suggestions for an 8-character vanity plate for Q5 TDI?

In NC, we can have up to 8 characters and a variety of punctuation. I'm looking for something that is specific to a diesel, and not too obscure.

Ideas thus far are:
ROLLCOAL - perhaps too obscure to your average driver, but those in the know might appreciate/hate it. Has some irony considering it'd be on an Audi, not the vehicle you think of when hearing that phrase.

OILBURNR - Appeals more to the masses, though many would still not realize the connection to it being a diesel.

Other ideas?

For reference, here are some others I've had :)

SCOOLBUS - because of color/wagon, also "S" model, etc. This got a lot of positive feedback from wide range of people:

@?1&:$L#! - Because I could :) I enjoy the fact that NC allows punctuation, so I tried to get as much of it as I could. Those characters don't count for anything, so you still need at least one letter/number. All single character plates were taken, so I had someone write a script to find all available 2-character combos, then reviewed those and went with 1L since it's just some straight lines and only minimally detracts from all of the other fun going on with the punctuation. I've received many rave reviews of this plate :)

Mark,

Here are a couple common ones:
  • SOOTY
  • WUT GAS?
  • GOT SOOT?
  • SIPNDZL
  • GAS SUX
  • OPEC SUX

That's some plate you've got on your 911. Possibly the best I've ever seen! I would go with something recognizable, so something with 'TDI' in it. If I were younger (maybe college-age) I would go with something like TDIRACER, but that plate would be a little lame for a grown man with kids!

Cool, thanks! I thought of the Clean Diesel approach as well, but wasn't sure how to abbreviate it that would be clear to many. I saw DIESEL on the road already. Also thought of doing some variation of PETRO-DIESEL, ie PTRODISL.

"Plate is available with selected message SOOTY." :)

but N0M0G@S and N0M0RG@S are available :)
(using zeros)

But I think these are best for electric cars

Boy, the cops in NC must Looooove calling in plates with punctuation!

How about just 'COOLBUS - with the apostrophe it's like "Schoolbus" but extra cool...

You gotta go with some variation of the schoolbus theme since it's diesel and yellow and big!

EDIT: I now see they don't have to call in punctuation, *derp* and my suggestions are taken already.

Ha! That's the first thing that popped to mind for "TDI + 8 characters", though sadly it's not even available. If my wife was doing custom plates here in Texas, she'd probably go with "TDI ROX". I'd most likely be "UBRWGN" (no, I didn't steal it from Mr. uberwgn here :D), but that's because I love my wagons and the Q5's certain a big one. ;)

Also, I remember all the buses had "MAX CAP 66" or "CAPACITY 66" on them when I was little.
