I got my frame replaced which it was quiet for about 6 months and now it's back. I will ask the service guy for the TSB when I bring mine in for steering noise next week. Just curious how much did u get for your 13 Q5 when u traded in? How many miles did u have on yours? Is it worth it to do the trade? Thanks
Just sent a PM. I got a deal that I couldn't refuse from Audi Wynnewood in PA. All done by email/phone and delivered to me so I never went to the dealership.

Just an update; The rattling came back, went back to Audi and like S4forDC above they performed TSB#22038029 but update 2 (S4forDC referenced 1). They basically removed the entire roof, loosened, re torqued the frame, reapplied the roof and added felt tape sections as per the TSB). All is good my friends. At last.

Regrettably the rattle is back, so much for that TSB. Contacted the dealer and back I go on June 16th. Will update ya'll on what brilliance they come up with. My lease is up in 5 months, was gonna just drop the issue but I can't. This just pisses me off.

OK so heres what they did today: Lowered front headliner and checked to ensure all is tight, yes, re installed head liner. Upon comparison with other Q5's they found the sunroof at the front was sitting low and to tight into the roof gasket. Re and RE the glass, adjusted all, lubricated the seals and gaskets. All is silent now. They basically said that's all they could do at this stage aside from reaching out to Corp Audi for advise. Which they said they would do if the rattle comes back. Four months left on the lease, regardless of repair it's now someone else annoyance, I'll live with it till the new TTS arrives.

same problem
Im about to head in before my head explodes. The rattle is pretty bad. I bought a 2017 q5 and when I picked it up, no rattle (and trust me, that is the one thing I reallly listened for) - well two weeks in, rattle. UGH.
