Default Techy question on door handle sensor

my door handle sensor (all 4) stopped working at the same time, from what i gather if one goes defective the system shutdown all sensors. i was told that even if i disconnect the faulty sensor, the system would still assume broken as it has an open circuit.

So, what's that sensor resistance such that i can disconnetc it and add resistor to close the open loop and make system think it has a good sensor. if that can work i would just use the back door to lock/unlock, easier then reaching out for the key fob.

thanks.

Zigaroo unfortunately your asking for the almost unavailable. These values aren't typically published anywhere even in valid shop manuals.Your best bet is to hope that someone who's got a door open and can measure a functional handle. Not likely but your approach would likely work.
