Here is my cutout job on the bumper plate to cover the huge hole in the bumper when they install a hitch on the Q5. Can't believe that Audi does not make a similar cover plate for use when a hitch is installed. Thank goodness for Dremel tools!

They do make a pre cut out with the hitch. I can upload a picture later this weekend.

None of the Audi dealers here in Indiana or Ohio seemed to know about it. I have seen one available online from some other dealers but the pre-cut opening is pretty large. Seems to me that Audi would make one more in line with what I did here to hide more of the undercarriage behind the bumper...

I have the folding towbar on my Q5 with offroad package. I always have it out to avoid parking damage from other cars.

Are you saying there is a OEM aluminum plate I can buy? I always ride without the cover plate which is not very nice looking and is also exposing the trailer connector for example.
