US SQ5 Ride Height - One More Time, With Feeling

OK, rather than hijack other threads, as Parsec suggested, can we have those who have already taken delivery of their SQ5s actually measure the gaps in the wheel arch?

Please post the gaps (front and back) in inches, your delivery date and your wheel size.

Many thanks,

Steve

I took delivery on Saturday August 10. My US QS5 was built in June, according to the plate in the door jam. I have the optional 21 inch wheels.

Thanks guys for confirming there IS a 1.2" drop on the SQ5, contrary to what most members are saying on the forums. I guess dropping the SQ5 doesn't make it lose the Light Truck designation.

Good to see confirmation of this.. the seating height position *felt* lower when I test drove it compared to my 2011 Q5, but I didn't have a tape measure with me.

Between US and Canada, US and Europe, or both?

Sorry I don't know anything about Canada or Europe. I assumed the pictures posted above by bjweber are from a US SQ5 which I'm comparing to a US Q5 (pictures from Thunderdent's build thread).

What am I missing here? You're comparing 2 stock US cars, and one is lower than the other?

So we have two SQ5s with different ride heights...

Can anyone wanting to help here please post close up with tape measure.
Plus MY13 or 14
