VCDS (VAG COM) and rear hatch
For people familiar with VCDS: Can VCDS be used to make the rear hatch close using the door button and/or the remote?

Well, it's possible on the A7 using VCDS.
Plus, I found out how they're doing it so I will give it a shot.

It is possible the model Q5, if you have:
Electric tailgate opening and closing
The electric operation makes it easier to open and close the tailgate
Open on button on the car key, key in the driver door trim and soft touch button in the finger grip of the boot lid, closing on button on the inside of the boot lid, with closing and programmable opening angle of the tailgate

Opening and closing windows and panoramic glass roof is standard
Enable Remote Operation Windows and Sunroof
[46 - Cent. Conv.] [Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] Byte 2
Bit 2 - Set to 1

That's actually quite true. You chumps have got to have someone to police this dump...and I think I'm the best chump for the job. 
Bimmerfest is really slow as are most other X1 forums. Just not enough cars on the road yet.
You know it's just hard to leave after 3 yrs of steady participation. And you guys would miss ME. So just be thankful that I'm sticking around...even if it is just to annoy.
