Default Water retention in Q5?

I saw this article on Jalopnik today:

https://jalopnik.com/its-absurd-how-...car-1823009767

Hss anyone experienced water drainage/retention on a Q5 like shown for a Q7? I haven’t heard any sloshing noises in mine.

Thanks for the videos. This has to be some of the most rediculous engineering that I have ever seen! This has to rot the frame quickly.

That is a ridiculous amount of water... I know on the Q5 below the windshield you are suppose to remove the Plenum panel (remove the cover to the Plenum panel to check the drain and clean as necessary) This is required as part of every major maintenance service (25k, 55k, 85k, ect) in kms... I do this with every service (25k, 40k, 55k, ect)

I have pulled leaves and pine needles from on top of and stuck in the drain grommet. The area if full enough I am sure you would be able to hear water move about. It looks like the area could hold 4+ litres of water.

I look at the plenum area once a year on all my Audi's since 1997, but all that water in the rocker panel videos is unbelievable!
