windshield wipers moves (re-adjust) itself after turn off the car?
All,
Occasionally there is a strange sound right after I turn off the car. Finally, I noticed it is from the windshield wipers arms. After I turn off the engine, the wiper arms moves a bit (very slight movement about less than 1/4 inch then goes down to its not-use position). It seems re-adjust itself. It happened again this morning. Last time I use wipers was 3 days ago.
Does it happen to some of you also or just me?
Thanks.

I think this happens because the wipers are set to the AUTO position.

Regarding the auto rain sensing wipers, it's very easy to forget they're in the on position because they stop running when it stops raining. I have, on occasion, gone into a carwash and had the wipers start up as soon as water hit the car, which is not a good a good thing. I almost wish there was an indicator light for when the switch is set to rain sensing.

I do have rain sensing option so I guess that makes the wiper in auto position all the time?? But I am sure the re-adjustment happens even when the wipers switch set to off. Like this morning, my wipers are set to off position but it still re-adjust after shut off the car although the re-adjustment movement is slightly.
Well... as long as this is normal, I have no concerns. Thanks guys for your quick reply.

I usually don't leave them on auto...
I took some training that taught me how I could SEE that it's raining
(didn't help with the part where I forget they are on auto though !!!)
