Default update to noise in rear

commented on this in a few posts - here's then latest. Thanks to the dealer, I think the problem has finally been fixed. More driving will tell. Problem was passenger side rear shock. Replaced. So it only took 13 months to fix, at least 6 visits to the local dealer and about 10weeks of my car sitting at the dealer. I've given up on the sunroof rattle that appeared after the recall repair. Oh yeah, almost forget - they told me that Audi is not covering replacing the front license plate holder anymore(past supposed 6mo. warranty). Dealer states now covered by only 6mo. warranty, then Audi says pealing paint is due to normal wear and tear. Can't wait for the paint on the rest of the car to start pealing off….

As you stated, so if the whole front end of the Q5 starts peeling it's just normal wear and tear!!!! Every thing on the car has normal wear and tear of some sort.

For noises I bought the following and have always found the noise source using it.
