Would the 2011 3.2FSI look odd with 19" rims and S-line exterior?

Default Would the 2011 3.2FSI look odd with 19" rims and S-line exterior?

I understand that the 2011 3.2FSI for the States would come standard with 19" 5-spoke wheels and S-Line exterior bumpers etc. I think that the current S-Line grill looks perfect with the 20" wheels - their elaborate styles and size match so well together. Given the 19" rims are smaller and simpler in style, I am wondering if they would look odd together?

Also, would the Canadian 2011 3.2FSI also get the S-Line exterior too?

I actually like the non s-line grill better. I prefer the look of the Audi logo as it stands out more against the black. For this change, I am glad I have a 2010 model year.

I do think it might look weird without the 20" wheels.
I don't like big wheels due to tire cost =P but the Sline 20s were too hard to resist =)

The question is how much they would charge for S-line "complete" package in the 2011s.
If it is little over 1K than I think it is worth getting it.

Difference between 19 and 20 is not going to spoil a car. On the other hand the S-line 20" rims make a very quick identifier to s-Line which was probably the original intention. In one sense putting 19s on will spoil the purity and make the car looked messed with.
So in answer to the OP... Yes it will look odd, as if you left your winter option on but only until lots appear.

It is typical Audi, make us pay for our elitism then give it away and force us to pay again to maintain our status or look dated!

more than the measures themselves, the look of the car is affected by the design of the rims
"open" designs (with hudge openings showing the breaks) have to be 20" to look big
"shut" design (as the 10 strokes for instance) seems then to be even "big" in 19"

And I actually like the 19" turbine design rims better than the 20" split spoke design, and the 19" are much easier to clean too. I guess everyone have different taste.
