20" A/S Tire Recommendations for 2019 SQ5
Was wondering if anyone had experience they would like to share with replacement 20" all seasons for the SQ5. Ours came with the summer Scorpions which we love, but blew a tire today and thinking about switching to A/S now rather than replacing this one.
May have to make a fast call tomorrow, so any thoughts appreciated. Loving the PilotSport A/S 3+ on my A5, but not sure this experience translates to the SQ5.
Looks like the Continental DWS is the other option in that class (Y rated).
Thanks for any quick input!

I have the AS 3+ on the SQ5 and they’re great. I had the DWS06 on my A6 and I think they’re the equal of the Michelins. I just ordered DWS06 for the Q7 last week. IMO can’t lose with either so it comes down to price.

+1 on the Michelin AS3+. Just installed these on my wife’s 2018 SQ5. Had Conti summer tires before the really sucked. Followed ever crack and crevice in the road. This is my 3rd car using the Michelin AS tires never a complaint.

+1 on the Michelin AS3+ as well. I've got about 14k miles on my 2018 SQ5 with over half of the miles on these tires (the other half on winters). No complaints. Quiet, good ride, good mpg. Wearing well as far as I can tell
Also, the tires gave decent traction for the few miles driven on snow and ice in the fall before winters were put on and the little bit of ice in the spring after winters come off.
My SQ5 came with the Conti AS and I did an immediate swap.

My SQ5 came with the stock Conti AS, which I kept on for my first year, and actually did just fine through the year including a NJ winter. But I knew that I would be replacing them after about a year, and considered the two usual suspects, AS3+ and Conti DWS 06. Ultimately, went with the DWS 06, and have been pleased with them.
From my research, fwiw, I basically concluded that the AS3+ is likely slightly better performance, while the DWS 06 might offer slightly better wet and snow traction. Thus, due to living in the mid-Atlantic, I prioritized the weather aspect. YMMV though, and can't really go wrong with either of those two.

My 2018 SQ5 came with Pirelli Scorpion Verde summer tires. Last week Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires replaced the Pirellis, which had been driven 16,500 miles or 27 000 km and which I found to be very good. The Michelins seem to have more direct steering and to be quieter and just as comfortable. I chose all-season tires because summer tires were barely useful last winter where I live.

Thanks everyone for the fast recs - decided to go with the A/S3+ based on this. Drive home from the dealership was barely different - we'll see how the noise is on the highway and how they behave when pushed a little! Sometimes its easy.
