2017 sq5 winter rims work on a 2024

Hello, trading in my 2019 s5 for a 2024 sq5 tomorrow, and I need some winter rims/tires. I am assuming my s5 19” rims will not work so I found someone selling a used set of 235/60/18 rims and tires off a 2017 sq5. Do you think they will work on my 2024 model? Audi online online offers 19” & 20” winter package. Has anything changed?

You could direct swap an old set of Q5 8R (2017) wheels over onto a FY Q5.
OEM set up on 18" for 8R were as follows:
Size - 8J x 18H2 ET39
Tyre size - 235/60 R18
Bolt circle - 5x112
Centering - 66.5mm

18" OEM set up for FY are as follows:
Size - 8J x 18H2 ET39
Tyre size - 235/60 R18
Bolt circle - 5x112
Centering - 66.5mm

S5? How did that get into the conversation ?
S5 19" wheels (8W from 2016 +) are 8.5J x 19H2 ET32 in size which were fitted with 255/35R 18 tyres.
Q5 19" wheels are 8J x 19H2 ET39 fitted with 235/55 R19 tyres.
Yeah they will physically fit as the centering/bolt circles match but the recommendation is only 5mm difference in offset.

I currently have an S5 im trading in tomorrow for my new SQ5. Since they are not giving me anything for my winter tires/rims I’m going to keep them and try to sell them. The size is 235/40/19 so I might just put one on and see how they look, and fit!

B8 Q5 18" is 18x8.0 et39. B9 Q5 18" is 18x8.0 et39. So no change.
B9 S5 19" is 19x8.5 et32. Additionally, the A4/A5 wheels are rated for lower weight load than the Q5 wheels, and use R13 lug seats instead of R14 lug seats.
So leave the "8W..." wheels with the cars and use the Q5 wheels, "8R..." (B8) or "80..." (B9).
