2018 Audi SQ5 Tuning - DTE / DTUK module
 

I own a 2018 Audi SQ5 with the 21" wheels and live in the Northeast / U.S. I have been researching tuning modules that are designed for the SENT protocol in the new engine software. I prefer to use a module rather than a tune to help avoid potential TD1 issues. I would simply unplug the unit before a service. Ideally, maybe after my warranty is up, I may get a EPL or APR tune perhaps once they are available. But, for now, I am looking for a module that will give me a decent increase in HP and Torque for the money from a reliable brand. I came across DTE / DTUK and would like opinions from other 2018 SQ5 owners that have already started using them. Note: (I do use 93 Octane Mobil gas regularly.)

So far, the DTE RX unit seems like the way to go and for $949.00 U.S. it is supposed to give an increase of about 54HP and 84 LB FT of Torque according to a U.S rep:

Just installed 2 B9 SQ5. Yesturday with mobile app. Both Clients luz it.
Still the car by nature has a delay in throttle. (D Drive). But in dynamic Mode. I really pulls hard.

The DTUK version is cheaper (but the version I got didn't have Bluetooth, and no app support). Not really a big deal though. You set it, leave it and drive it. Easy to remove if you need service (5-10 minutes worth of work). Mine was ~$950CAD, delivered with overnight FedEx from the UK (around $750USD).
