Yes. The bar graph appears to be fully analog (can measure any level along the graph), but in reality has defined gradients. I'm on my 6th Audi with e-dipstick and every car has experienced this, which is a function of sensor accuracy/repeatability. BTW, the "missing" amount of oil is roughly 125 mL.

well my oil level dropped again, this time, it doesn't 'recover'. i still have about 3000KM to my 15,000KM servicing. would this be normal?
