2018 SQ5 0-60 Video

I spliced the two videos together and ran them at quarter speed so you can see where in the process the S5 pulls away. Because the VC only updates every 5-8 mph, you have to extrapolate, but it seems the time advantage is almost immediate.
Hope you all can play wmv format. If not, let me know.

Wish I had the S5 to test Based on the video and what you say, I would rule out the aerodynamics as the biggest factor. Extra weight would certainly contribute in a big to the SQ5 getting a slower start. Wonder if there is anything else that contributes to that initial pull.

And as far as the weight goes, I believe there is between a 200 and 450 lb difference - depending on the coupe or sportback

Thanks for the reminder I have a JB4 It certainly takes it to the S5 level, but I've yet to do a true 0-60. I've always done my WOT from a 5mph rolling start which probably takes away that "pushed back into your seat feeling." I haven't felt comfortable doing a launch control start as I need to pull directly onto an interstate (no on-ramps where I test) and I haven't been comfortable taking the time for a complete stop, rev, and launch with the possibility of cars coming up behind at 70mph lol. Also, can't help but think of the old days where it would definitely burn rubber launching it that way. But when summer comes around, I'll give it a try for giggles.

Traction control should always be off for a proper launch. Those times aren't accurate, using a VBOX or Draggy would be more beneficial as seen below from my car
