Not sure how I was so off base, but the summer tires delivered on my SQ5 were Michelin Latitude Sport 3.

Just picked up my 18 SQ5 with 20 all seasons, and they were Michelin. They're either the premiers or latitude, can't remember and the car isn't in front of me

You are very fortunate. Based on your post I was expecting the same but just picked up mine and they came with Continental CrossContact LX Sport. I'm not very happy about it. Thinking of replacing them with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and seeing what I can get on Craigs List for the Continentals.

What are they doing - throwing whatever they can find on it? Yours was just a few cars ahead of mine on the line. This seems really strange.

The 3 all seasons they use are Pirelli Scorpion Verde, Continental CrossContact LX Sport, and Michelin Premier LTX.

Thanks for a knowledgeable answer. From a consumer point of view, I am making tire buying choices when ordering a vehicle - I can get A/S or summer tires (same price). Its true that Audi didn't advertise which tires I was going to get. But I went off of others' experience and I erroneously thought I'd get the Michelins. I would never have chosen the A/S option if I knew I was going to get the Continentals. I even sacrificed 155 mph and got a speed limited for these. Oh well.

Good to know... this is the first vehicle I've ever owned with Pirelli's on it. I normally stick with Michelin's for cars and suvs, and Nitto and BFG for trucks. So far they are a comfortable ride and quiet so I'm liking them. I'll prob get all the life I can out of them, unless they massively suck in the snow, then go with Michelins after that.

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ are the wsy to go, a close second would be Pirelli P Zero All season tires. I think Michelin has the egde in snow and they're neck and neck everywhere else.

I agree. Mine just shipped from Tire Rack and will replace the Continentals this week. I'm curious if I will notice a difference in the ride.
