The Michelins? Mine rode quieter, and better overall than the stock ContiSport 5's. In fact those awful summer tires are still sitting in my garage awaiting me tossing or selling them.

Yes I ordered the Michelins. Glad to hear of the improvement in ride over the Continentals. If I can sell the Continentals, I'll let you know what I got for them, but I'm not expecting much. Anything to offset the new Michelins is better than nothing and better than taking up room in the shed.

I'll likely run the life on the OEM Pirelli's and then go with the A/S 3+. Michelin makes a great tire.

Had Michelin on my Infiniti G and they were not a great tire. I won't but A/S again.

Maybe it's because you had an Infiniti :P the Pilot Sport A/S 3+ are some of the best (if not top) A/S ultra high performance tires out there. I don't know what ones you had, but clearly something was off if they weren't great.

Pilot Sport A/S and I could break them loose any time and noisy. Replaced them with Firestone Firehawks summer and it was like night and day. I'm sure some of it had to do with them being A/S which I'll never buy again.

Default SQ5 came with Pirelli Scorpion Verde summer tires.

This week I drove home my new 2018 SQ5 which came with Pirelli Scorpion Verde summer tires. I cannot say how sticky the tires are, but they are quiet and smooth. Because they have a rated life of only 20,000 miles (32,000 km), I'll likely drive them for a 12 to 18 months and then replace them.

Wow, congratulations on the 18. I've seen way more 18's then 14-17's.

Thanks for the information. I bought my 2018 SQ5 last May here in KC. I've put 12,000 miles on the car and apparently need new tires already as I have the Pirelli summer tires on the 21" wheels. Not thrilled about that nor the poor handling in the winter. I am contemplating getting all season tires but dealer told me I would need new 20" rims to do so! Do the Michelin's fit the 21" wheels? Any other advice? I really hate the idea of having to switch from summer to AS tires in this climate as most of the time the roads are fine but from November to April it can be anything. Thanks!

Tire Rack has 295/35-ZR21 which according to this Online Wheel and Tire guide should fit ok. And they appear to be in stock. They're about $500 more than the 20s of the same tire. That is the problem with 21 Wheels. So you could keep the 21s and pay the extra $$ now or buy 20s and put the $500 saved toward new 20" wheels. Every time you buy new tires, you'll save another $500 and eventually make back the cost. But if you like your 21s, at least it is available.

By the way, the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ are excellent in summer.

Not sure if all 21" tires cost that much more than their 20" equivalent.
