Hi all -

Long time VW owner and first time Audi owner - just picked up a '19 Q5 Premium Plus. After looking into a bunch of competitors (Lexus RX, Infiniti QX50, Volvo XC60) we landed on the Q5 as the best mix of sport and comfort/convenience. Loving the car so far.

Just had a few questions:

• On the digital cockpit, what should I expect to see on the driver assistance screen? I've had it up on both local roads and highways, and even when the blind spot monitors are going off, or if I'm approaching stopped cars, it hasn't shown anything.
• Do the "all-weather"/fog lights act as cornering lights? Maybe I just haven't noticed it but I don't think I've seen them come on during low speed turns.
• I believe I have the forward facing camera/sensor by the mirror (since it's not Prestige I don't have the 360* cameras). Does this mean I can enable lane assist?
• How accurate is the fuel consumption gauge? The car only has about 70 miles on it and it's showing ~24mpg average, which seems optimistic given NYC stop-and-go traffic.
• Any ETA on support for the Q5 via Carista? I have access to an Android device and OBDeleven if needed but I already have a Carista device from my VW days.

I can only help you on the first two points. The driver assist shows up as a little segment on the iPad stuck in the middle of the dashboard. Mine light up routinely in parking lots or in my garage when I approach the wall or the far end. Also, progressively louder and frequent beeping occurs the closer you get to the object in question.

As for the cornering lights, they illuminate at night whenever you move the wheel through a certain number of degrees. Mine works fine. I have a 2018 Q5 premium plus. I am not sure about the other three questions. Good luck.

For number 3, if you have lane-assist feature, you can activate it pushing the small button on the lever that controls your headlights.
For number 4, i would say read the thread that I started earlier about mpg values.
